Caroline Esmeralda van der Leeuw better known as Caro Emerald. Born in Amsterdam, Netherlands. She is a Jazz singer who started to sing at the age of twelve when she began her singing lessons in Amsterdam and later she was part of a girl vocal group called "Les Elles" then she rose to prominence as a featured artist around 2009 but before that year she had an invitation to sing the same song of this video that at the beginning was not considered as a chart potential song. However, after being posted on YouTube it gained the recognition and popularity of the world wide audiences.  The rest was just a matter of time, she began to steal the hearts of those who really love her style and type of music. For her audience she is the type of singer that mixes pop with Jazz, A&B and even Samba with a vocal versatility that is considered seductive and full of soul.
