We have a great flashback! Cynthia Ann Stephanie Lauper better known by her stage name Cyndi Lauper. Born in New York City, U.S. Her Genres: new wave, pop, rock, synthpop, blues and soul. She is a singer, songwriter, actress and according to some sources an activist.  She's for a fact a very versatile artist. It is not strange then she started to write songs and play the guitar at the tender age of twelve. However, the path to fame was not easy. she suffered bully at school due to her way of dressing and looks. She also experienced trials in her family with her parents' divorce. A lot can be said regarding her background but we also have a lot to say about her musically speaking. In brief we will say that it was the year 1983 when she released her first solo album the one that became a hit around the world and its single "Girls just want to have fun" became an anthem for the girls. Her success after this was like a movie making history, she became the icon of the Decade! What do fans say about her? Well, they say the love how she can still hit those notes and sound the same after all these years. They also add how so many singers haven't properly did the things necessary to take care of their voices. But she has shown the opposite of what is needed to keep her voice on top vocally.
