Grace Martine Tandon, she is better known as Daya which comes from the Sanskrit word meaning compassion or kindness, that's definitively a deep meaning for a name. Born in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, U.S. She's an American singer-songwriter. Her Genres are pop, synthpop and electronic.
 Daya began playing the piano at a very young age (when she was 3) but she also learned to play other instruments as guitar, ukulele, saxophone, and flute. Certainly a multi-instrumentalist artist.
  As soon as many of her fans discovered her around September 2015 they say they were amazed by her talent, and they started to follow her music.
