In 1995 Dido started recording demo tracks that later were gathered with the idea of attracting significant attention from famous record companies. She also collaborated with songs and vocals allowing her to be exposed and getting recognition in the aforementioned areas. It is in 1999 her first debut album called "No Angel" was released, then the story begins and Dido gained more exposure and promotion and her first single "Here with me" was released in USA but in UK until 2001. Then the second single "Thank you" reaching number one place in the charts and due to its success one music video was produced for the American fans and another for the British and European market. It is in the light of these events that the following years Dido was a hit around the world with albums as "Life for rent" and "Safe trip home". In this 2019 her album "Still on my mind" an electro-folk album and some other elements of synth-pop, disco after six years of absenteeism she is back in the game with fresh songs and flourishing lyrics. Here we have an acoustic version of her song "Give you up".
